Coach Credentialing

The USASF prioritizes athlete safety through rigorous coach credentialing , which enhances coaches ' skills in guiding athletes through proper skill progressions . This comprehensive credentialing process requires that coaches are familiar with the required skills at various levels as well as the ability to demonstrate how these skills may be taught . In addition , each applicant must have an understanding of essential safety topics including concussion management , cardiac issues and overheating . By equipping coaches with this crucial knowledge , the USASF helps athletes receive instruction that supports their development and well-being .
