Bido Lito! June 2015
see why FELL FOOT SOUND pitches up here year after year.
This is a festival that promotes a hugely eco-friendly ethos and the
surroundings are only the better because of it: they even have the
luxury of proper toilets. Music comes courtesy of headliners FEVER
DREAM and everybody’s new favourite quirky experimentalists
THE LOVELY EGGS. You’ll also find MENACE BEACH and THREE BLIND
WOLVES in attendance at this small but cosy festival, backdropped
by the picturesque Fell Foot woodland glade, which overlooks Lake
Windermere. Splash out a little more and you can stay in one of
the festival’s renowned yurts, complete with wood-burning stoves.

Long Division
12th-14th June / various venues, Wakefield
Bido Lito! Highlight: SWEET BABOO
Over 90 bands will pile in to Wakefield in June as LONG
DIVISION plays host to three days of music that takes over the
city-centre. The line-up mixes the household names of BRITISH
SEA POWER and ASH with raucous newcomers FAT WHITE FAMILY
and TUFF LOVE, and they’ve also snared two Welsh wonders in
FUTURE OF THE LEFT and SWEET BABOO. Festival stars of the future
are scattered through the rest of the line-up. The festival will also
be teaming up with pop-up concert series Sofar Sounds for secret
performances from artists who have performed at Long Division
during its five-year history. longdivisionfestival.co.uk
Liverpool International
Festival of Psychedelia
25th and 26th September/ Camp and
Furnace, Blade Factory and District
Bido Lito! Highlight: THE GANJAS
The international PZYK cosmos comes together once again
this September in Liverpool’s Baltic quarter, with the addition
of District as a venue allowing the freakout to expand further
following 2014’s sold-out happening. This year’s bill is helmed
by space-psych Titans SPIRITUALIZED, Leeds’ HOOKWORMS,
BLANCK MASS, veteran noisemongers THE HEADS, and
industrial, post-punk, acid noise specialists FACTORY FLOOR.
Brian Jonestown leader ANTON NEWCOMBE also joins the
bill as the festival’s first Artist In Residence, and other acts
DREAMWEAPON, DENGUE FEVER, and INDIAN JEWELRY
also catch the eye. Organisers are also planning a big
expansion of the popular PZYK gallery and village
as
the event looks to retain the ‘Best Small Festival’
title that was awarded to them by NME last year.

Farm Feast
13th-14th June / Claremont Farm
Bido Lito! Highlight: VEYU
FARM FEAST can be quite
simply described as a two-day festival celebrating everything
that’s good: music, food, drink, art and family. Claremont Farm, near
Clatterbridge in Wirral, will play host to a veritable platter of tasty
morsels this year, including a chef’s theatre of professional cooks
KATY ASHWORTH, JOHN WHAITE and LUKE THOMAS, as they look to
inspire the food lover in all of us. There will also be a plethora of
food and drink producers on site, so if you leave the weekend with
anything but a full tummy, you’ve done it wrong. On the music front,
legendary Liverpool stars THE FARM will be present to headline the
main stage, with local artists SHE DREW THE GUN, THE MONO LPS
and ROSENBLUME amongst those playing across the Main and
Courtyard stages. farmfeast.co.uk
