Web 2.0 is defined as “ a second generation in the development of the World Wide Web, conceived as a combination of concepts, trends, and technologies that focus on user collaboration, sharing of user-generated content, and social networking.”
They are not just standard, old-school, basic web pages. They tend to be informative, interactive, social, and can be created by the users. On the following page are resources created by multiple users for the purpose of being informative, creative, and geared towards use in the classroom. Web 2.0 promotes collaboration.
