Are Resource Websites Beneficial for Educators?

Sometimes educators need some extra help when it comes to adding new things into their classrooms. Technology is changing ever-so-quickly that it is hard to keep up! For my final Master’s project, I wanted to create a resource website for teachers and gather their feedback to determine whether or not they found this extra resource to be beneficial or just another bookmark taking up space on their web browser.

First, I created my survey. What questions did I want answered? How do I want my respondents to feel about my website? Based on the questions I had in my survey, I started creating a website. Because of some time restraints, I focused on only one grade level and one concentration area. My website ended up being a resource website focusing on 6th grade mathematics in Ohio. My website provided some mini-lesson plans, multiple external webpages, links to the Ohio Math Standards, assistive technology that may be helpful in the classroom, and some basic troubleshooting resources that could help with common issues we may find when using technology in the classroom. After my website was completed, I distributed the link of my website and the survey to volunteer participants. All participants were certified in 6th grade mathematics in Ohio to ensure as much validity
