About the Author: Corinne Roach:

Corinne currently lives with her husband, Joshua, and puppy, Mosby, in

Perrysburg, OH. She is also expecting her first child this August. Corinne is an 8th grade science teacher at Perrysburg Junior High and will be beginning her fifth year of teaching in the fall. She graduated with a B.S. in Middle Childhood Education (Science & LA) from Miami University in 2014, and is currently on track to graduate with a Masters in Classroom Technology from BGSU this August as well. In her free time she enjoys spending time outside gardening, going on walks, visiting parks, and just sitting outside, as much as she can.

Additionally, if the approach was successful, it would allow me to use more in-class time to have students apply and extend their learning in new ways. Unfortunately, having students watch the instructional videos did not significantly improve their Genetics Quiz scores when compared to students who did not watch the videos; (t(44)= -0.19, p=0.5767, one-tailed).
