the power goes out through the whole building. Since our school is located in a relatively sunny  area, we will receive a lot of natural energy that can support our school-wide needs.   We can create competitions through advisories that award prizes for those who recycle the  most. We should also get our student body more involved with the Green Committee so that we are  all more aware of what is going on. Once students are involved, it becomes more apparent to the  students that something has taken motion and that they have the chance to help the school become  more sustainable and green. The heads of the Green School committee can take polls from the  students and see how the students want their school to improve.   Don’t take more food than you know you want to eat in the cafeteria. Try to reduce the  amount of trash that you throw away. Occasionally get vegetarian options or vegan options to  reduce your meat and dairy consumption. It’s important to somewhat reduce your meat  consumption because, cows and other livestock produce a huge amount of CO2 emissions.     If we are able to reduce our carbon emissions as a school, we will in turn, help the world  become a better and healthier place. So, support the school in their efforts to become more green and do what you can at home to make as much difference as you can.       Bibliography   ● Clark, Duncan. “Which Nations Are Most Responsible for Climate Change?” The Guardian,  Guardian News and Media, 21 Apr. 2011,  www.theguardian.com/environment/2011/apr/21/countries-responsible-climate-change.  ● Miller, Brandon. “Deadly Heat Waves to Become More Common.” CNN, Cable News  Network, 27 July 2018,  edition.cnn.com/2017/06/19/world/killer-heat-waves-rising/index.html.
