Welcome to your May "Healthy Lifestyle Goal Calendar"! Every day for the month of May there is a new goal for you to complete on your way to developing a healthier life. Make our all natural pancake recipe from the "Easy Breakfast Ideas" page. 4 5 6 7 Relieve your stress by doing some yoga for at least 30 minutes. Create your favourite healthy afterschool snack. Go for a 30 min run/walk/ jog to keep those legs moving. Make a healthy lunch today inspired by our recipes. 11 12 13 14 15 16 Create a healthy meal inspired by healthy fats we know and love! For each meal, fill up half the plate with fruits/ vegetables . Work on posture! Shoulders back and core tight! Be confident! Make a recipe from our "Quick & Easy Breakfast Ideas" page! It's not ok to deprive yourself! Think of today as your treat day! 18 19 Treat yourself with a DIY pamper treatment to truly think about yourself! Create a healthy dessert this evening inspired by the "Quick & Easy Desert Ideas" page! Write down a list of 10 things that make you happy. 8 9 Incorporate your daily does of iron through all natural foods! 10 Keep your metabolism going by drinking natural fruit infused water! 20 21 22 Make healthy and balanced dinner incorporating foods from all food groups. Take an hour out of your day to stretch and really open up your mind and body. Relax to watch your favourite TV show while alternating squats and lunges during commercials. Make protein the focus of tonight's dinner! 17 23 Incorporate calcium into your diet by drinking a tall glass of milk as part of your breakfast. Go a day with a vegetarian diet including adequate amounts of protein! 24 Include complex carbs into your diet today. Ensure that they are whole grain! 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 Get in exercise while enjoying the fresh air, by exploring the great outdoors. Come up with your own healthy and balanced meal and create it for dinner with your entire family. Go for a swim either outdoors or at a local pool to incorporate exercise in a fun and creative way. Eat all natural today! Don't eat anything processed or that has been premade. Turn off all devices at least an hour before going to bed to get a full night's sleep!
