From this story of Heidi Montag it is evident that the constant media attention and scrutiny was the cause of her transformation. Montag seemingly could not handle Hollywood’s idea of “beauty", which caused her to change her physical appearance to "fit in". This posed a serve risk on her physical health because of Montags ner death experience. However, Montag is not the only person that has been affected by the media.
