Tο άρτιο αρχιτεκτονικά και τεχνολογικά έργο, συμβάλ-
λει σημαντικά στην προβολή του σύγχρονου πολιτισμού
της χώρας. Το εντυπωσιακό Κέντρο Πολιτισμού Ίδρυμα
Σταύρος Νιάρχος (έκτασης 210.000 τ.μ.), με πρωτοπο-
ριακό, οικολογικό σχεδιασμό που φέρει την υπογρα-
φή του αρχιτεκτονικού γραφείου Renzo Piano Building
Workshop (RPBW), περιλαμβάνει τις εγκαταστάσεις της
Εθνικής Βιβλιοθήκης της Ελλάδας και της Εθνικής Λυρι-
κής Σκηνής. Από την έναρξη της λειτουργίας του (Ιούνιος
2016) έχει προσελκύσει μεγάλο πλήθος επισκεπτών από
όλο τον κόσμο. Εντός του κέντρου εντυπωσιακή είναι η
μεγάλη τεχνητή λίμνη. Κάθε μήνα στον πολυλειτουργικό
αυτό χώρο διοργανώνονται φεστιβάλ, συναυλίες, εκ-
θέσεις, ξεναγήσεις, προβολές ταινιών και εκπαιδευτικές
εκδηλώσεις. Το κανάλι, ο στίβος και το υπαίθριο γυμνα-
στήριο συγκεντρώνουν επισκέπτες, οι οποίοι όχι μόνο
αθλούνται, αλλά χρησιμοποιούν και τα ενοικιαζόμενα πο-
δήλατα που βρίσκονται στον χώρο ενώ υπάρχει all day
café-bar-restaurant στην είσοδο της Αγοράς. Θερινό
ωράριο: 06:00 π.μ.-00:00, χειμερινό: 06:00 -20:00.
Το πάρκο λειτουργεί από το πρωί έως τη δύση του ήλιου.

The new architectural and technological work, seems
to be winning the bet of contributing to the promotion
of the modern culture of the country. The impressive
Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (210.000
sq.m.) with innovative and ecologic design bearing the
signature of the architecture office Renzo Piano Build-
ing Workshop (RPBW), contains the infrastructure of
the National Library of Greece and the National Op-
era. Since the beginning of its operation (June 2016)
it has attracted more than 1 million visitors, seeking
to enjoy the green urban resort for their recreation. A
large impressive artificial lake is built-in the Center. Each
month this multipurpose space hosts festivals, concerts,
exhibitions, tours, movie projections and educational
events. The channel, the track and the outdoor gym
gather up young and older visitors, who exercise, but
also use the bikes for rent found within the space and
an all-day café-bar-restaurant is slated to open in the
entrance of the Agora.Summer hours: 06:00-00:00,
winter: 06:00-20:00. The park is open from morning
until sunset. Entrance to park: free.

στάση στον σταθμό μετρό
Συγγρού-Φιξ και καταλήγει
στο Κέντρο.

ασμό μετρό-λεωφορείου
Από την πλατεία Συντάγματος,
γραμμές Β2, 550, που διέρχο-
νται από τον σταθμό μετρό
Συγγρού-Φιξ. Αποβιβάζεστε
στη στάση «Ωνάσειο» και
κατευθύνεστε νότια.
• Με τραμ Aπό την πλατεία
Συντάγματος αποβιβάζεστε
στη στάση «Τζιτζιφιές» και κα-
τευθύνεστε προς Καλλιθέα.
ACCESS
• With SNFCC’s small private bus
(shuttle bus), which sets off from
Syntagma square, stops at Sygrou-
Fix metro station and ends up at
the Center.
• By bus or combined metro-bus
Starting from Syntagma square,
lines B2, 550, crossing the Sygrou-
Fix metro station. Get off at the
stop “Onasseio” and head south.
• By tram Starting from Syntagma
square get off at the stop “Tzitzi-
fies”’ and head for Kallithea.
