Έναν χρόνο μετά το Pirée, το … όραμα που άλλαξε το καλλιτεχνικό γίγνεσθαι στον Πειραιά, μας περιμένει πιο ώριμο να μας μυήσει σε μια νέα διαδραστική πραγματικότητα.
A year after Pirée, the... vision that changed the artistic happening in Piraeus, is waiting for us even more mature to introduce us to a new interactive reality.
Πριν από έναν χρόνο η συνοικία του Αγίου Διονυσίου, στα παλιά λαμαρινάδικα του Πειραιά, καλωσόρισε το Pirée. Πίσω από αυτό ο interior designer Κοσμάς Καραβάς( Lab 71), ο οποίος « μεταμόρφωσε » μια από τις εγκαταλελειμμένες αποθήκες της περιοχής σε έναν πολυχώρο 400 τ. μ. Μάλιστα, χάρη στην τεχνική του upcycle, διατήρησε τα αυθεντικά βιομηχανικά στοιχεία του κτηρίου, αναδεικνύοντας τα εμφανή μπετά, το σίδερο και την πέτρα. A year ago, the district of Aghios Dionysios, in Piraeus’ s old lamarinadika, welcomed Pirée. Behind it is the interior designer Kosmas Karavas( Lab 71), who“ transformed” one of the abandoned warehouses of the area into a 400 sq. m. complex. Indeed, thanks to the upcycle technique, it retained the original industrial elements of the building, highlighting the visible concrete, iron and stone elements.
ΔΙΑΚΟΣΜΗΣΗ | DECORATION Κρυφοκοιτάζοντας μέσα από τη « σκουριασμένη » γκαραζόπορτα, είναι σαν να ταξιδεύεις σε εναλλακτικές art galleries του Βερολίνου ή του Μπρούκλιν, ενώ ταυτόχρονα η εσωτερική φύτευση, σε συνδυασμό με τον φυσικό φωτισμό και τα σιντριβάνια παραπέμπουν σε έναν … μυστικό κήπο. Όσο για τη διακόσμηση, φέτος κινείται σε πιο theatrale στυλ. Οι πέτρινοι τοίχοι « ντύθηκαν » με βαριές βελούδινες κόκκινες κουρτίνες, πολυέλαιοι αναδεικνύουν τη « γυμνή » βιομηχανική αισθητική, ενώ το ενδιαφέρον μονοπωλεί το μήκους 6 μ. μοναστηριακό τραπέζι, που δεσπόζει στο κέντρο και μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει μέχρι 24 άτομα! A sneak peek through the“ rusty” garage door, is like travelling to alternative art galleries in Berlin or Brooklyn while at the same time the indoor planting, combined with natural lighting and fountains, refer to a... secret garden. As for the decoration, this year it moves into a more theatrale style. The stone walls are“ dressed” with heavy red velvet curtains, chandeliers highlight the“ naked” industrial aesthetics, while the interest is monopolised by the 6 meter of length monastery table that dominates the center and can accommodate up to 24 people!
