ΤΟ CONCEPT
Το concept του Arthens συστήνει για πρώτη φορά στα ελληνικά
δεδομένα μια πρωτοποριακή interactive εμπειρία: όλα τα καλ-
λιτεχνικά δρώμενα που φιλοξενεί στον χώρο του, από εκθέσεις
βιβλίων μέχρι μουσικά γεγονότα, μεταδίδονται ζωντανά μέσω
του ραδιοφωνικού σταθμού Flash με τον οποίο συνεργάζεται,
δημιουργώντας έτσι το concept του Flash Art –το οποίο κάνει
και πολιτικά debate– με το κοινό να μπορεί εκείνη τη στιγμή να
απολαμβάνει και να συμμετέχει ενεργά σε αυτό! Έτσι, το πρώτο
«ζωντανό ραδιόφωνο» είναι γεγονός, και συγγραφείς και καλ-
λιτέχνες έχουν την ευκαιρία να παρουσιάσουν on air το έργο
τους και ταυτόχρονα να μοιράζονται σε έναν ανοιχτό διάλογο τις
ανησυχίες τους με τον κόσμο. Αυτό θα πει πρωτοπορία...

THE CONCEPT FLASH ART
The concept of Arthens introduces an innovative interactive experience for
the first time in Greece: all the artistic acts hosted in its space, from book
exhibitions to music events are live broadcasted from its partner Flash
radio station, thus creating the concept of Flash Art –also hosting politi-
cal debates– affording the audience the opportunity to enjoy as well as
actively participate in the events.Thus, the first “live radio” is now a reality,
offering the opportunity to writers and artists to present their work on air
whilst participating in an open dialogue with the people present and their

ΟΙ ΓΕΥΣΤΙΚΕΣ ΑΠΟΛΑΥΣΕΙΣ THE DELICIOUS DELIGHTS
Εδώ κάθε στιγμή της ημέρας έχει και τις δικές της απολαύσεις. Από το πρωί
πλούσια πρωινά με παραδοσιακές πίτες, πληθωρικά σάντουιτς, αρωματικούς
καφέδες, healthy ροφήματα και σπιτικά γλυκά, μέχρι το βράδυ που την τιμητική
τους έχουν οι ποικιλίες εκλεπτυσμένων ελληνικών αλλαντικών και τυριών συνο-
δευμένα με κρασιά από τον ελληνικό και διεθνή αμπελώνα. Κατηγορία από μόνη
της είναι η κουζίνα που ξυπνά μνήμες από στέκια της πάλαι ποτέ μεσοαστικής
Αθήνας. Πιο αντιπροσωπευτικό παράδειγμα οι μαμαδίστικης νοστιμιάς προ-
τάσεις από τις ιδιαίτερες σαλάτες και τα ζεστά και κρύα ορεκτικά (ξεχωρίσαμε
την τούρτα μελιτζάνας σε σάλτσα λαχανικών και φέτα) μέχρι τις λιχουδιές της
κατσαρόλας και της σχάρας (must taste o κόκορας ριζότο και το μοσχάρι με καρέ
πατάτας και καρότου σε σος λεμονιού με διπλοστραγγιστό γιαούρτι). Καθημερινά
07:30-όσο πάει (κουζίνα 12:00-00:00). Here every moment of the day has its own perks. From early in the
morning we enjoy filling breakfasts with traditional pies, plethoric
sandwiches, aromatic coffees, healthy beverages and homemade
sweets, until the evening when platters of fine Greek cold cuts and
cheeses accompanied by wines from the Greek and international
vineyard are presented in abundance. Rather special is also its
cuisine which awakens memories from middle-class hangouts of
old Athens. A characteristic example are the homemade delica-
cies offered, from unique salads and warm and cold appetizers (the
egg-plant cake with vegetable sauce and feta cheese is exquisite)
to delicious meals cooked in the pot or in the grill (definitely try the
rooster risotto and the beef with potato and carrot cubes and lemon
sauce with double-drained yogurt). Daily 07:30-as late as it gets (the
kitchen 12:00-00:00).
