Everybody hates going to the dentist. From the teeth scraping to numerous x-rays, visiting a dentist can be an overwhelming and stressful experience. Well, prepare yourself for a different approach to dental care. At the McFadden Dental Implant Center, Dr. David McFadden is taking a dignified approach to dental treatment.

Dr. McFadden is a board certified Prosthodontist committed to giving DFW optimal dental health. But, what is a Prosthodontist? Prosthodontics is one of nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association which focuses on the cosmetic and functional restoration of teeth for adult patients. You may be thinking, that sounds like a‘ Cosmetic Dentist’ or‘ Implant Dentist’. Wrong. Those terms are superficially generated by the dental community and are not specialties recognized by the ADA.
Prosthodontists undergo three additional years and thousands of hours of specialty training beyond that of a general or‘ cosmetic’ dentist. This time spent is dedicated to reconstructive dentistry, dental implants, veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures and partials, some TMJ( Otherwise known as Temporomandibular disease which affects the muscles, joints and structures of the jaw) treatment and other small areas of dental reconstruction that most people never need.
What makes Dr. McFadden a dignified dentist is his approach to patient care. It begins with a private consultation. The diagnosis is never delegated to an assistant, dental hygienist or office manager. Multiple consultations can be scheduled with no additional charge.
Next comes tailored treatment. There are no unnecessary tests, scans or referrals. Any treatment is based specifically on the patient’ s needs.
The dignified approach also includes multiple solutions for your needs. Most patients leave with at least three options at three price points and they will be given the pros and cons of each solution.
Furthermore, the prosthodontist does all of the work. Dr. McFadden’ s staff does not take on any expanded duty because many dental assistants only have a few weeks of formal training. He also handles everything in house, so his office can have complete control of the patient’ s outcome.
The McFadden Dental Implant Center takes pride in running the practice on time. Their schedule is never overbooked, ensuring little or no wait time as well as plenty of room to consult with Dr. McFadden.
Bob, one of Dr. McFadden’ s patients, had a bad problem of grinding his teeth and began to develop cavity problems. His original dentist gave him two options: dentures or redoing his entire mouth. He then visited Dr. McFadden and was given three pro-
