Technology Advanced Equipment
Forest Park Medical Center was the first hospital in the Dallas area to acquire the MAKOplasty robotic arm for hip replacement and partial knee resurfacing. The use of this technology creates a minimally invasive procedure, shorter hospital stays and quicker recovery time for patients. Forest Park was also one of the first hospitals in the DFW market to utilize the da Vinci robot for gynecological surgery. With this equipment we are able to offer patients an option that is minimally invasive and conducive to faster healing.

The staff and the physicians at Forest Park are committed to being active participants in meeting the social needs of our community. We support health related causes that will impact thousands of lives in addition to providing health care services to victims of natural disasters. Plus, the Forest Park Dallas Campus is LEED Gold Certified which means through extensive environmental planning, the facility uses 39 % less water and 25 % less energy.

Growth and Expansion
The Dallas campus opened in March 2009, the Frisco campus opened in June 2012, and Southlake is scheduled to open June 2013. Groundbreaking ceremonies for the Fort Worth and San Antonio facilities were held January 2013 and we will be breaking ground in Austin July 2013.
