Dr . Reed founded Reed Migraine Centers in 2011 , and continues ongoing research , as well as , publishing and presenting papers on pain management with the use of implantable neurostimulation devices for the control of pain . The Reed Procedure SM was peer recognized in 2009 by the International Headache Society for pioneering innovation in migraine treatment .
