undergoes their procedure, recovers in
recovery, stays in their hospital suite

the ability to provide surgery using the
most current techniques as medicine
advances. For example, as medicine
progresses towards minimally inva-

sive surgery we are able to use robotics, advanced tables and equipment,
and special intraoperative imaging
that makes this surgery possible.
For patients that may need a much
larger operation, such as a scoliosis
surgery or spinal deformity operation,
Forest Park Medical Center has a fantastic Intensive Care Unit with excellent technology, equipment, doctors
and nursing staff to help patients on
their way to recovery.

nursing staff, and other ancillary
health care providers in a state of the

Shawn Henry, D.O. joined Texas Back Institute as a Spine Surgeon. Dr. Henry earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine
from Ohio University. He participated in a traditional rotating
internship and an Orthopedic Surgery residency through
