Ride or bring your bicycle to the fair. Participants will be judged on performance of executing bike safety skills, knowledge of bike parts and maintenance.
This activity consists of four( 4) parts and is open to ages 5-19 years of age.
Classes:
• Ages 5-8
• Ages 9-11
• Ages 12-15
• Ages 16-19
Part 1
• Ride your bike through an obstacle course to practice safety and build skills( 25 points)
Part 2
• Present to the judges of cycle experts any customization and knowledge of bike parts and systems, care for bikes and maintenance at music stage( 25 points)
Part 3
• Bike showmanship present your bike skills in show ring at music stage( 25 points)
Part4
• Bike Relay on things such as fixing a flat, adjusting a seat, fix a chain, etc.
• Bike Relay contestants will be judged solely on time to complete tasks the fastest.( 25 points)
