Wreaths of Remembrance Contest
“ May We Never Forget ” For many cultures , wreaths represent notions of eternity , continuity , and memory . The circular shape makes the wreath a representation of eternal life . Within the military , wreaths carry special layers of meaning : victory , bravery , peace . The Wreaths of Remembrance contest was established in 2023 in memory of Paul Newell , a military veteran , Benton County Sheriff ’ s Office Detective with the Criminal Investigation Division and Benton County Fair Volunteer .
