Entries Due : Saturday , September 21 , 10:00 – 2:00 Pick up entries on Sunday , September 29 , 1:00-3:00
Special Awards : High Point Individual Best of Show Ribbons for both Color and Black and White Photographs
Rules : 1 . 4-Hers and Youth between ages 9-19 may enter one ( 1 ) entry in each class . 2 . Entries must fit the category entered . 3 . Photos must be original work of the exhibitor , taken in the last year . Photographs must be 8 X 10 matted within an 11 X 14 mat . Must have a stiff backing no thicker than mat board . No frames , Glass or Foam Board
5 . Entries will be labeled on the back with the Name , Age , 4-H Club and Title of Photograph . If the individual is not a 4-H member the word Youth should be substituted for the name of the 4-H Club . 6 . All entries will be awarded with a Blue , Red , or White ribbon .
Color Photography CLASS 1 . Animal ( Not to include a person or persons as the dominant feature ) 2 . Action 3 . Scenic ( Not to include people or pets ) 4 . Flower ( Includes any type of vegetation ) 5 . Geometric or Abstract ( Includes Architecture , Bridges , Sculpture , Monuments ,
Fireworks , etc .) 6 . Portraits ( Portraits are posed photographs showing an individual or small group such as couple or family . Subjects will be shown in one of four ( 4 ) formats : Head and Shoulders , from Head to Waist , ¾ body ( Head to Knees ), or full body ) 7 . People ( Includes both candid / human interest photographs ) 8 . Creatively Enhanced 9 . Conceptual ( Includes still life , etc .) 10 . Wild Card ( Any photograph that does not meet the criteria for any other category )
