A delicious collection of classic and unique fair food awaits you this year at the Benton County Fair

Let ’ s face it , one of the best things about attending the county fair is the unique choices you have when it comes to food . There is nothing quite like the yummy eats you can find at a county fair , and the Benton County Fair always has the best of the best trucks supplying you with an array of delicious choices .
Below are a couple of the master chefs who are bringing their culinary creations to fairgoers this year . See what they have in store for your taste buds and how they came to be in the business of bringing smiles and satisfying appetites on the fairgrounds of Benton County .
Shuckin ’ Delicious Roasted Corn
Mary and Johnny Wall are the owners and proprietors of Shuckin ’ Delicious Roasted Corn .
“ We have been in the concession business for the past ten years ,” Mary said . “ We had previously run the concession stand in the arena at the fairgrounds for different events . We haven ’ t been in the concession business as long as other vendors , but we feel we do a good job .”
Several years before they got into the business , a gentleman used to come to the fair and sell roasted corn . After he retired no one was roasting corn . The public kept asking where could they get roasted corn on the cob . With that , Mary and Johnny Wall stepped up and Shuckin ’ Delicious Roasted Corn was born .
“ Our corn is roasted , not steamed or grilled , on a big , red Texas Corn Roaster ,”
Mary explained . “ When ordered , a person can watch their ear of corn being shucked and dipped in liquid butter if they want butter on it . We then provide seasonings for the customer to put on their corn . You can also just enjoy it plain .”
The creative culinary husband and wife team also do a loaded baked potato . Be prepared , these potatoes are not your typical small potato . They are a giant potato that is guaranteed to satisfy the biggest appetites of their hungriest customers .
“ We offer our potatoes loaded with butter , sour cream , broccoli , bacon and shredded cheese or loaded with butter , sour cream , shredded cheese and pulled pork or , of course , just plain if that ’ s what you like ,” Mary said .
And to wash it all down , their drinks are fresh and homemade , just like their food – offering fresh-squeezed lemonade and limeade with flavorings .
“ Our lemonade and limeade are just what we say , fresh-squeezed ,” Mary noted . “ It may take a few minutes longer , but we
