JULY AT THE
BFSC
On July, the Benjamin Franklin Science Corner participated of
the 35th Edition of the EXPO which is a national fair to
demonstrate new technological advances. For the EXPO, the
Benjamin Franklin Science Corner worked together with the
National Council of Science and Technology or CONACYT.
The program included presentations of different science
demonstrations. The goal of the program was to demonstrate
the different opportunities the science corner has to offer to
high school and teachers. The 200 or more participants
included students from thirteen different high schools from
surrounding areas of the Science Corner and the central area
of Asunción.

EXPO
APOLLO
11th
Another outreach program was the Apollo 11th exposition,
the Benjamin Franklin Science Corner participated of the
Apollo 11th exposition for three days. For this program, the
Benjamin Franklin Science Corner worked together with the
Centro Astrónomico Bicentenario and the United States
Embassy in Paraguay. The program included an exposition of
the Apollo 11th and a videoconference with Miguel San
Martin from NASA. The goal of the program was to take
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, and
opportunities to underrepresented population. The
approximately 300 participants WERE from different parts of
Paraguay.
