pants with their teal tops for the fi rst time since
Christmas Eve of 2006. The Jaguars are 8-4 when
wearing this specifi c combination. The team
has worn teal for several memorable victories
including the 1999 AFC Divisional win over the
Miami Dolphins and the 1996 regular season
fi nale win over the Atlanta Falcons that sent the
Jaguars to their fi rst-ever playoff appearance.
On game day, fans can expect a complete teal
washout across all video board content and
all-new teal fi eld fl ags to celebrate Jaguars
scores. Members of THE ROAR of the Jaguars,
the JaxPack and the D-Line will all sport teal.
Delaware North, the offi cial food and beverage
provider of EverBank Field, will be serving teal
drinks and dessert options at select concessions
stands. To help fans get game-day ready,
Fanatics will be featuring teal merchandise at all
in-stadium Jaguars Pro Shop locations.
The Bengals game serves as the team’s annual
homecoming game and more than 50 Jaguars
alumni players who helped create the teal legacy
will be in attendance and will be recognized at
halftime.
Pride of the Jaguars member Tony Boselli
“On behalf of the players, we are excited
about the opportunity to wear teal for
our homecoming game,” said Jaguars
defensive captain and former Pro Bowl LB
Paul Posluszny. “With alumni returning to
EverBank Field, we are honoring the history
of our organization by wearing a color
that is near and dear to the team and its
supporters. I look forward to putting on the
teal threads and representing our city like
legends of Jaguars past, and it is sure to be
an exciting and emotional afternoon.”
