Dear 100 Club of Arizona,
We do not know where to begin to express our gratitude for your assistance during Mike’ s recovery from his kidney donation surgery and for my down time as a result of an on-duty fall. Please know we were able to get ahead on our house payment and make a final payment on my truck. This allowed us a sense of financial and emotional security. You allowed us peace of mind and the ability to heal without financial worries. We are not sure how we will be able to fully thank you, so for now, our deeply heartfelt thank you is what we offer. Thank you for being there for us, the recently fallen Phoenix Firefighter Harper, Phoenix Officer Raetz and all the families in between. Most of us would be lost without your service and resources. Forever grateful,
Maria Flores, Arizona Department of Public Safety The 100 Club provided Line of Duty Injury financial assistance to Detective Flores after an on-duty fall in October 2012.
100 Club of Arizona,
I am writing to thank you for your generous scholarship and to express my sincere gratitude for being selected to receive the 100 Club Grand Scholarship. I was ecstatic and shocked to hear that I had been honored to receive your scholarship. My tears of joy reinforced my appreciation as I realized you have made my future education goals feasible... Your generoisty has further inspired me to give back to the community and help others. Thank you again.
Courtney DuBois Courtney is receiving the $ 10,000 100 Club Grand Scholarship. Dear Ms. Knutson-Felix,
Special thanks are extended to the 100 Club of Arizona for issuing checks to the Arizona Department of Corrections employees who were hospitalized as a result of the van rollover on April 5, 2013. I also understand that your husband, daughter, and you devoted your Friday night to personally hand deliver the checks to five recipients and four different hospitals.
To say that the Department and I were touched by the sincere demonstration of devotion to our employees and their well being does not sufficiently express our gratitude. One of the recipients continues to marvel that a much needed check for $ 500 was issued, and so quickly.
Again, on behalf of the Department, please accept my deepest gratitude for your generosity.
Colleen McManus, Chief Human Resources Officer, AZ Dept. of Corrections On April 5, a van carrying nine Arizona Department of Corrections officers rolled over, injuring five of the officers. The 100 Club responded immediately with line of duty injury assistance. All officers are expected to make a full recovery.
