The General Capabilities are a key dimension of the Australian Curriculum. The capabilities are thoroughly addressed in the context of the learning areas throughout the Australian Curriculum website.
These capabilities play a significant role expressing the goals and aims set for young Australians.
It is evident that “That all young people in Australia should be supported to become successful learners, confident and creative individuals that are active and informed citizens” (MCEETYA, 2008).
