These next five years are when children start to understand the importance of others, expand on their vocabulary and break away from the egocentric behaviour. The imagination thrives in this stage of develop. Children are known for creating elaborate stories, designing bright and colourful art works and imaginary friends. Children will focuses on their creative side without realising they are using critical thinking at the same time. As they think of new innovative ideas are evaluating old games, activities and ideas they had before to make them more interesting and have a purpose.
Pre-Operational Stage

They seek answers to problems and think anything is possible. To generate new ideas they will experiment, seek new possibilities and put their plans into motion. Inquiring about their information and ideas is a major step of this stage of development. They become more a where of others, their feelings and draw conclusions
