BEDE’S DIPLOMA
All pupils in the L6 will be completing the Bede’s Diploma over the next two years. The
Diploma is made up of four distinct sections. Pupils must complete each section in order
to be awarded the Diploma at the end of the U6.

This is an opportunity for pupils to extend their skills and knowledge in a particular area,
gaining University and/or Employment recognised qualifications, some of which also carry
additional UCAS points.
Pupils will complete one of the following qualifications:
• EPQ
• Young Enterprise
• Sports Leader/Coaching qualification
• Dance/Music examinations
• Other recognised certificates (e.g. First Aid, Lifeguard)
