IN MEMORY OF
Tony Crowther
We are very sad to record that our design
director Tony Crowther (right) died
suddenly on 26th January 2019.
Tony created the look of both Bed &
Breakfast News and Hospitality Today
magazines, and produced every issue of
both titles – that is, 85 issues in all.
Tony was not only a highly talented
graphic designer and architect, but also
a wonderful colleague who was held in
great affection by all who worked with
him. At his funeral on 8th February,
Patching church in West Sussex was
packed to overflowing with friends,
neighbours and colleagues.
Our Chairman, David Weston, especially
misses Tony as the two had worked
together since 1991 when Tony started
designing brochures for David’s then
business, Allez France / Great Escapes.
Tony will not only be hugely missed,
but as he was such a core part of our
magazine production, his death left a
huge hole in our publication schedule;
we thank readers and advertisers for
bearing with us in recent months.
