In 2004, they had planned travel to Buenos Aires as Suyai was going to give birth in the Austral Hospital, and she wished to share the moment with her family who lived in Pilar, this was going to happen at the end of November.
Saturday October the 9th of 2004 (a month and half earlier), Catalina was born in Puerto Esperanza Emergency in a public hospital called IMI. Its staff was excellent but, there Sergio and Suyai realized that were a lot of missing supplies to attend children that needed medical attention.
Infinitely thankful for saving his daughter’s life who had been interned for several days due to premature birth and as he was a sports lover, he liked playing soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, skiing and running was the most important for him, in September the 3rd of 2007 he completed his dream. Sergio announced in a local TV channel that his business and him were going to sponsor the first solidarity marathon to collect money for medical care of children in Misiones.
He used to say,
“Running is good and if it's for children it's better”.
