The NMC Construction Group celebrated the completion of the Radisson Red Hotel at the Red Roof party hosted by our client the V&A Waterfront. Guests were treated to some of the best local flavours from the hotels OUIBar restaurant, good entertainment and a great evening overall. The unique hotel, the first of its kind on the African continent, is a seven storey establishment offering guests a fresh, unconventional, techno savvy hotel experience. The new 252-key hotel’s anti-beige décor is an eclectic mix of artworks adding the fun factor to the space for visitors to The celebrations didn’t end there as NMC joined Zip Zap Circus at their ribbon cutting cocktail at the newly completed building in Salt River, on Thursday, 14 September. In true circus spirit guests were welcomed in the trapeze hall with a burst of colour and trapeze artists suspended from aerial ribbon. In partnership with Zip Zap Circus, Tsai Design Studio and Sutherland Engineers, the NMC Design and Construct team collaborated on the design of this new circus academy. The impressive building is multi- functional and includes classrooms and offices, training spaces which can also serve as event venues, with a triple volume Trapeze Hall taking centre stage. The multi-storey structure is a dream come true for Zip Zap circus, a permanent home where they can expand their educational programmes and build a lasting legacy.
