Due to outreach of players , coaches , and parents , student athletes are receiving an increase in attention from colleges of all levels . This year alone , the athletics department has had coaches and recruiters from over 75 schools reach out to get stats and prospect sheets from BHS players .
“ These guys are putting in the hard work on and off the field ,” Athletic Director Lance Connot said . “ They really bought into our own process of working hard to get the results that we have .”
Connot has his own process of coaching that begins with asking the students : are you an ‘ and ’ guy or are you a ‘ but ’ guy ? If the players are an ‘ and ’ guy , he pushes them to be good on the field AND in the classroom .
