It’s a Small World After All
Suhana Khiani, Year 5
Looking at the environment and various countries, the
Year 1 students are researching as much as they can
on ways to keep this small world crystal clean. Year
1’s host country is England, and they have been
gaining much knowledge about this popular country.
The young learners were enthusiastic about their field
trip to Taman Wisata, Jakarta where they were able to
see the good and bad side of the fabulous city. Eager
and curious, their job was to turn the extraordinary
place into a peaceful and clean one. After the field
trip, they were amazed at how dirty Jakarta is.
Year 1 students always look forward to learning
something new. In Mathematics, they learnt about
time as used in everyday life. They are learning about
poems in English and were asked to make one on
their own.
They are happy little ones, enjoying every day of their
life at Beacon Academy.
