S T R AW B E R R Y BA SI L M A RGA R I TA serves 1-2 INGREDIENTS – ⅓ pint of fresh strawberries – ½ cup of Blanco tequila – 1½ oz of Cointreau – 1 oz of freshly squeezed lime juice – 1 tbs of raw honey – 2-3 basil sprigs – ¼ cup of kosher salt for rim DIRECTIONS Pour salt onto a flat plate. Rub a lime wedge along the rim of two cocktail glasses and dip into the salt to rim the edges. Fill glasses with fresh ice cubes. Place strawberries, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and honey (and ice cubes to make frozen) into a blender. Blend to a smooth consistency. Muddle finely chopped basil in the bottom of a cocktail shaker to release its flavor. Pour mixture into shaker and stir vigorously. Pour into salted glasses. Credit: Food Network
