At this point , we shucked way too many oysters to count , but if you ’ re looking for specifics , myself and our General Manager , David Phillips , have gotten in the habit during season of shucking over twelve 50 pound boxes in one day .

what , s your favorite way to eat an oyster ?

Hands down raw oysters are the best way to go . I also enjoy eating Japanese prepared oysters , which include hot & sour sauce , seaweed , and ginger . The world tour ( a sampling of Mexican , Japanese , Russian , German , and Southern Traditional ) is also worth trying if you ’ re open to trying different flavors .
