New investment, New Business Goals…and Success Metrics You may have seen some strange men in suits, eating pizza and wandering around the Oxford office a few weeks ago and you may have even been fortunate enough have a chat. These men are Billy Nerenberg (now our nonexecutive director) and Valerie & Guy from our potential new investors, Westbridge Capital. Along with yourselves, these wise men will be helping to drive and shape the future of bChannels by investing in and working with us to expand on the fantastic growth we’ve achieved in recent years so that we may fulfil the new business goals which we’ve seen set out in recent company-wide meetings. Thanks to all our hard work we’ve been able to attract and appeal to Westbridge Capital so let’s give ourselves a collective well done! So What are the New Business Goals?... Phil Gowing Taken from Jive “As we discussed at the December 2013 Team meeting, we want to improve our business communication updates to the whole business in 2014. The first step is to make sure that you are all aware of what our top line goals are for 2014. We will provide monthly updates on how we are progressing against these goals. We hope to see lots of success, but we will share with you the disappointments as well.” People #1 - Working with our new investment partner, identify and recruit four new Global Account Directors, each responsible for growing bChannels business with a strategic client. #2 - Build an effective Resource Management Office (RMO) to ensure that we have the people and the skills in the business to meet the demands of projects that we win. #3 - Deliver against an internal communications plan that gives all employees visibility of how we are performing, and that allows us all to interact to help achieve our goals with aim of improving on our 2014 staff survey scores. Clients #4 - Put an Account Plan in place for every major client so that we have a clear roadmap to grow our business by leveraging the insight that we have access to. #5 – All projects to have an agreed success metrics that is maintained and communicated to all team members for the duration of the project. #6 - As the business grows, to ensure that we keep focus on our company values, and that we take care to protect and grow our relationships with clients.” You can track updates of progress toward these goals via the ‘bChannels Goals’ page on Jive.
