Roberson Ranks High for Students’ Financial IQ “I know that financial education is the most important knowledge we can share with our students,” says T.C Roberson Finance teacher James Galloway. T.C. Roberson is ranked among the top 100 high schools in the nation for teaching students about financial literacy! The W!se (Working in Support of Education) Personal Finance ranking is the first of its kind in the country. It’s designed to showcase schools of excellence that are teaching personal finance and measuring student knowledge using the W!se Financial Literacy Certification Test. Mr. Galloway has been a “W!se” certified classroom since 2012. “Personal Finance is the single most relevant course any high school student can ever earn a credit in. Graduating financially literate students is essential to the survival of our country,” says Galloway. Students Jaison McMinn (9th) and Logan Bugbee (10th) talk to the class about financial IQ. Mr. Galloway talks to his students about the importance of learning how the stock market works.
