Careers in coatings, printing inks and wallcoverings - explained by BCF members in new video series
In order to promote the industry better and explain what
careers in coatings, printing inks and wallcoverings entail, the
marketing team have been visiting BCF member companies
around the country to produce job profile videos.
Each one provides an insight into a day in the life of industry
professionals – profiling a broad range of careers, from technical
roles through to sales and marketing.
Such profiles continue to be gathered, as the opportunity to be
interviewed remains open to all members.
The job profile videos will be showcased on the hub and via
BCF’s social media channels. If you would like to be profiled, or
profile someone in your organisation, please contact
[email protected].

“If you are looking for
variation in what you do,
then the coatings industry
has such a wide range of
opportunities that there is
something for everyone.” “My career advice would
be, do your own research
into what kind of training
you want to receive, write
a proper proposal as to
why it will benefit yourself
and the company – and go
for it!” “My role is very diverse
on a day to day basis, and
that’s what keeps my role
so colourful.” “My biggest achievement
to date is seeing and an
idea, working it through
into the labs, then seeing
it made.”

“If you don’t know anything about
the coatings
industry, then
you wouldn’t
understand
the science
behind it, and
when you come
into the industry
you are exposed to that.”
