APL Avenue
Formed in 1995 and with over 300 independently accredited members , The Association of Professional Landscapers is the first place to look for a quality landscaper or designer . Members undertake all types of landscape works from patios and driveways to fencing and planting , and even complete design and build projects . Now in its fifth year , the inspirational yet attainable projects on the APL Avenue offer the opportunity to witness first hand what can be achieved in a small space , realise the importance of a good design and understand the costs of projects .
This years theme is “ A Very British Affair ”. The theme has allowed the landscapers to explore many areas of inspiration ranging from quintessentially British planting ( including allotments and edibles ) to the beauty of the British coastline .

The space is inspired by the UK ’ s manufacturing industry and brutalist architecture . Celebrating the beauty of buildings , the garden balances large concrete blocks with delicate planting and grasses , working with a wild green and white colour palette .
The planting consists of textural , delicate blooms and grasses in shades of green and white , which emerge between undulating domes of Osmanthus to contrast with the brutality of the hard landscaping materials .
