The Plant-Based Garden

This garden recreates a traditional homestead with a cluster of Douglas fir structures, each serving a distinct purpose. Key features include the Burnt-Out Barn with grape vines overhead and dining below, the Brassicarium for protected crop growing, and the towering Multi- Occupancy Birdhouse. The Roofed Barn offers seating with views over ponds and meadow-style perennial planting, while the potting shed supports the productive garden, complete with raised beds, compost heaps, cut flowers, and hazel. The design blends rustic charm with practical, sustainable gardening.
