On My Wavelength
Designer : Kim O ’ Brien Company : @ dahliafarmerama
The border , which is inland beach-inspired is designed around a mathematical sine wave , representing waves of water and brainwaves . Deckchairs on paving provide a shared physical space while a barely trickling stream invites thought and mental exploration . The wooden backdrop combines thought with mental health challenges and links a vibrant community forming a network created by individual experiences . Planting draws inspiration from water and the abundant and varied life found within it .

A Garden of Treasured Memories
Designer : Jack Moody Group and Hollybush Garden Centre & Aquaria Company : Beth ’ s Sunflowers
If I had a single flower for every time I think of you , I could walk forever in my garden . Our Border Garden represents Beth ’ s Legacy as well as her journey , from her happy , buttercup-filled childhood to her passing at 20 from leukaemia . The plants symbolise her happiness , beauty , friendship , ambition , strength , and remembrance . Stepping stones surrounded by beauty signify her achievements . This garden is a tribute , a place of calm and beauty , just like ‘ Our Beth ’.

Step Into Our Garden
Designer : Alexandra Bailey Company : Thrive , Gardening for Health
Small steps towards making our space welcoming to wildlife . A sensory pebbled path with flowing curves winds around planted pockets with tactile foliage and scents . Stepping stones encourage exploration through drifts of scented blooms and soft leaves , leading to a place to rest and observe nature . Natural and repurposed materials create features and planting structures , with reclaimed wood and woven whips forming higher planted areas and shelters for creatures . Sponsored by :
Little Library
Designer : Elle Hepburn Company : MostlyGreenery
A recent study has found that the number of insects sampled on vehicle number plates in the UK has declined by over 64 % since 2004 . It feels right to me , that in my beautiful border , there is a vibrant tapestry of flowers thoughtfully selected to encourage all wildlife — especially pollinators . I feel enriched and energised whilst being present in my border , which only encourages me to keep learning . The ‘ little library ’ allows myself and others to discover the importance of gardening by sharing knowledge in a small , but abundant area .
