Be encircled by the jungle when you step outside your back door , every day of the year . This evergreen garden showcases the often-overlooked beauty and possibility of foliage and shade , by re-creating the lush wildness of the jungle with beautiful , shadetolerant plants . The use of logs and wood chippings in favour of hard landscaping , the dense planting and the choice of robust , perennial , problem-resistant plants make for a garden which is hospitable to nature and low in environmental impact . This design is full of ideas for bringing much-needed beauty and wildness into our busy lives , and into the smallest and most urban of outdoor spaces .

( We Deserve A ) Wild Life is a garden in celebration of women , both past and present , inspired by several recent tragedies in the news that have affected women . The garden features a colour palette making use of the colours of the Suffragette Movement , transitioning into a celebratory riot of pinks and reds . The garden will also feature two chicken wire sculptures representing a Suffragette and a contemporary woman . The plants featured will predominantly be those named after women .

Wildlife Oasis

This garden is inspired by how a wildlife friendly pond can blend beautifully and naturally within a garden border . The naturalistic planting is selected to attract wildlife . There is no hard landscaping and materials and are all recycled and reused , showing that this garden can be created and maintained with little cost and is sustainable . Ponds attract not just frogs , toads and newts , but also numerous other small creatures such as : dragonflies , damselfies , water beetles , pond snails , water boatmen and pond skaters . The surrounding pollinatorfriendly plants attract many different insects such as , bumblebees , solitary bees and hoverflies .
