Bass Digest July 2014 Issue 9 | Page 8

To Hugo, Brent and all at The Bass Challenge. Our good friend has gone to another place. He was ours for a brief time on this earth, then swept away by Angels on a heavenly flight to be with God for eternity.

I have never been to a Muslim funeral before. What an amazing experience. Love, compassion, strength and support, and a sense of togetherness like I have never experienced before. So many people! Which just went to show who he was and what he meant to everyone.

To his wife, kids, family, friends and all who knew him. I cannot imagine the heartache you went through, and probably still are. There will never be enough condolences to soothe the pain and sorrow.

To our precious friend, Mohammed Shahid Ebrahim - you were loved very much, you will be missed so much more. May God keep you in his loving care forever.

So sorry to hear about Shahid’s passing. I never got the chance to meet him but from what I have picked up he loved bass fishing and put a lot of effort and his time into our sport. Very sad news indeed.

Rest in peace Shahid.
