John and Tony targeted 10-18ft of water using jigs and crawdad plastics to coax the big ladies into biting. The weather remained near perfect which is generally unheard of for TWK.
Bites were hard to come by, but concentration and persistence paid off for the two. Excitingly of the four fish bag they caught over the two days fishing, three of the biggest fish were caught last cast Saturday and
back to back last casts Sunday.
They won prizes for Biggest overall bag as well
as for the biggest fish and 2nd biggest fish
caught on Sunday. They won some really great
prizes. John thanked his partner Tony, the
Sponsors and Organisers of this long standing
tournament and it's members that work so hard
to make it a success.
Tafelberg look forward to seeing all the same faces and hopefully some new ones at next year’s tournament in January 2015.
