Things become tough; Linlay decided to help his father, who was by then selling food on the streets of Trou Aux Biches. “We were able to upgrade the business, from a trolley that we used to move from home every morning and back in the afternoon, to a permanent stall that we have now. My whole family is sustained by this business, and that in itself is fulfilling.” “I love what I do because every day I get to interact with different people from diverse cultures. But it is not easy. I have to wake up at 5 am every morning, six days a week, to buy all supplies needed for the day.’’ Despite these challenges, he is always pushed to work harder by his three children. “I want the best for them. I don’t want them to end up doing the same thing I am doing because it is really hard.
