It seems to you that art goes beyond passion and is embedded within , how do you express the art in your heart and make it real and alive to the next person ?
I tend to let go in every poem I write . I allow my audience to feel what I feel . For every poem that I write , I ensure that I bring it home to the everyday experiences of my audience . For example , I ’ m talking about pain ; I paint the pain . I make it come alive . I personify it ; I breathe life into it . It ’ s more like reliving the moment that inspired me to write the poem I am reciting then . In such moments , I feel like I can rewind time . I call it time travel with my emotions .
My opinionated art is my masterpiece to the world , and I will continue to define what ’ s my definition of a masterpiece in every poem I write .
What makes us human is our ability to feel intense emotions . I go out onto the stage , and I bring that out . I always value my everyday interactions with my community because I can see how people handle things and how emotions come into play . I know , I always tell people to “ stop being emotional ” but those are just jokes for the day .
