Kaone Tlagae More than half the population of women find themselves tangled in a web of 'lovers-on-loan' and this is increasingly becoming a norm in society. Marriages and courtships have blatantly lost their real essence as the modern world brought with it, the thrill of a fast-paced and deceptive lifestyle which has unfortunately affected uprooting generations. Faithfulness has become a thing of the past and so is the value of family. In this edition, Kaone Tlagae probes further to find out why becoming a side chic is gradually becoming an attractive trend to women. Despite bad press against having one’s bread buttered on both sides, recent studies show that many women opt to become concubines to married men. This, however, may startle some readers as women are known to be emotionally-clingy but of late, this has been an issue of controversy. In an interview with some women, Kaone got an insight from women who have been- or are still involved with loaned lovers and here’s what they had to say.
