The Saxophone section
would like to thank...
Santiago Cantu: I would like to thank everyone who made band a passion, rather than
just a class. I would like to thank Mr. Marines for teaching me how to truly play music,
and my classmates who together formed this band.
Marina Albuerne: Thank you to everyone who was part of the band. Thank you
Mr. Marines for giving us opportunities and for always helping us improving on our
music. I would also like to give thanks to my parents who gave me support. Iʼm really
grateful for the opportunity in learning about music, especially the alto saxophone.
Regina Ruiz: Thank you for all the fun times and jokes we had in class. It was an amazing
year and I feel like weʼve improved a lot. Period 7 Day 2 was the best class Iʼve ever had.
Thank you, next.
Marcelo De la Garza: Thank you Mr. Marines for showing me a way through music and
discovering a new passion. I would also like to thank all of the 8th grade band because
this journey would have been as fun without any of you guys. Thank you everyone for
making the best out of this year.
Maria Turner: Thank you to the band, for always supporting each other and making
every class fun. These 3 years would not have been possible without this amazing band.
And to the saxophone section for helping me improve all year. Thank you to Mr. Marines
for teaching us to play our instruments. We would not be here without you.
Daniel Bueno: Thank you to everyone who encouraged the band to continue playing
and improving to get a better end result. Specially Mr. Marines our band director. Thank
you classmates for doing your best to stay on track on the practice. This year was really
fun even though we had some downs. We managed to play a very difficult song and
I would like to thank Mr. Marines for helping us do that.
Emilio de la Garza: Thanks to all the band for always being there as a family and always
having fun in the band. Iʼve lived very fun experiences with you guys and Iʼm glad I did.
I enjoyed playing on your side and being on stage with you was wonderful and I will
never forget these times.
Florencia Galindo: I would like to thanks to this band class cause nothing would have come
possible without the presence of all of us as a team. I would also like to give thanks to my teacher
whom he had the idea to make me play a rare instrument that opens me to the doors of music
and band classes, that made my love for music and instruments. I have appreciated my time
in middle school band classes but now I'm ready to move in and keep playing with this amazing
generation class, to still be part of the low woodwind section, and keep playing the bassoon
cause I'm ready to be a high schooler band teenage girl.
