HOW TO WEAR
YOUR RACE & LICENCE NUMBERS
According to the ASA Rules and Regulations, athletes are required to display licence numbers in all competitions.
• Those athletes with permanent licence numbers issued to them by their club and / or province must wear both numbers, one each on the front and back of their club vest or Tee. The race number issued to athletes at registration must then be fastened to the front of their vest or Tee, on top of the permanent licence, but with the top row of ASA province, year and sponsor’ s logo on the permanent licence still visible. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
• Athletes who are not registered with a club or province must wear a temporary licence number, which will be issued at registration and must be worn throughout the race on the back of their vest or Tee, while the race number issued at registration must be fastened to the front of the vest or Tee.
