Wine Collective
For a dining experience that blends the local with the global , you ’ ll want to check out Baltimore ’ s first urban winery : the Wine Collective . At its tasting room in Hampden , indulge in a menu of Spanish-inspired tapas , perfectly paired with an extensive selection of wines crafted from grapes grown within 100 miles of the winery . 1700 W . 41st St .
Founded by three lifelong friends , True Chesapeake sources its premium oysters directly from a creek at their own farm in Southern Maryland , actively working to restore the creek ’ s marine ecosystem through sustainable harvesting practices . Every oyster shell is recycled in collaboration with the Oyster Recovery Partnership , a nonprofit dedicated to restoring the aquatic life of the Chesapeake Bay . The restaurant also serves invasive species like snakehead and catfish to help clear them from the bay . 3300 Clipper Mill Rd .
