HHS PROVIDER RELIEF FUND DISTRIBUTION
In July , the Department of Health and Human Services ( HHS ) announced that non-Medicaid and Children ’ s Health Insurance Program ( CHIP ) providers were able to apply to receive funding from the department ' s CARES Act Provider Relief Fund .
Now , thanks to a recent deadline extension , all dentists with validated Taxpayer Identification Numbers who qualify have until Friday , Aug . 28 , 2020 , to apply for the funding through the Enhanced Provider Relief Fund Payment Portal .

DELTA DENTAL ANNOUNCES ITS RETURN TO CARE SUPPLEMENTAL REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM
Delta Dental is temporarily offering a $ 10 supplemental reimbursement for each qualifying evaluation or consultation code , starting June 22 , 2020 . This Return to Care reimbursement program is available until September 22 , at which time Delta will reassess and determine whether the program should continue .
The reimbursement is available to participating dentists in the following networks : DeltaCare ® USA , Delta Dental PPO™ ( DPO in Texas ), Delta Dental Premier ®, Delta Dental Federal ( Legion ), Medicare Advantage , excluding Medi- Cal Dental , CDPHP - NY Medicaid , HSCSN - Washington , DC Medicaid .
For DeltaCare USA facilities with a capitation agreement , simply submit a DeltaCare USA encounter form when treating a DeltaCare USA enrollee , and Delta will add $ 10 to the encounter fee during processing .
For other dentist networks ( including DeltaCare USA dentists without capitation agreements ), the reimbursement will be provided when claims are submitted for any of the following evaluation or consultation codes : D0120 , D0140 , D0145 , D0150 , D0160 , D0170 , D0180 , D0190 , D0191 , D8660 , D9310 and D9430 .
Please do not submit code D1999 to receive this temporary supplemental reimbursement . Any charge for sterilization / infection control is not billable under any Delta Dental plan and cannot be charged to patients .

United Concordia Dental
United Concordia Dental is currently reimbursing $ 10 to dentists who use code D1099 for PPE supplies . Participating providers may not charge the remaining balance of PPE costs to patients .
Humana
Humana announced a program to assist dental providers by paying an additional $ 7 per dental claim , for all fullyinsured Humana dental members . The program runs through September 2020 .
