WHAT IS IT?
Graduates of the Healthcare Management specialization can expect to qualify for leadership positions in hospitals, nursing homes, physician practices, public health departments, and imaging and laboratory services. Relevant coursework includes current topics in health information systems, decision making, budgeting from the healthcare perspective, organizational behavior and communication, human resources, and the emerging implications of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.
