For those who haven’ t stumbled across Aneeqah Fataar Litskas(@ aneeqahfataar) on your social media channels – firstly, what is wrong with your algorithm? And secondly, we’ re honoured to introduce you. Aneeqah is a wife, entrepreneur, lifestyle content creator, and new mom. Her feed is filled with everyday family moments, fashion, and travel.

“ My husband, Dimosthenis [ Dimos, as she calls him ] is my partner in life – very supportive, caring, and full of love. Together, we focus on family, laughter, and making memories.” The two have traditional careers – he’ s an engineer and Aneeqah is a social media marketer – but they also live their lives out loud online.
On why they chose to move their IRL to the digital space, Aneeqah says,“ I wanted to capture the moments that matter most – family milestones, everyday joys, and the little things that make life special. Over time, it became a way to connect with others, inspire moms and families, and celebrate the balance between creativity, motherhood, and life’ s adventures.”
And baby makes three
After three years together, Aneeqah and Dimos were delighted to discover that their twosome would soon become a threesome.
“ My pregnancy journey was a mix of emotions and experiences – beautiful, challenging, and transformative all at once,” she says.“ Physically, there were days of excitement and wonder, and days of exhaustion, discomfort, and just trying to keep up. Emotionally, it was a rollercoaster – moments of pure joy and anticipation, but also anxiety and uncertainty as I navigated all the changes.”
But there were also moments of clarity and overwhelming love.“ I remember
www. babysandbeyond. co. za feeling my baby move for the first time. In that instant, I realised life isn’ t just about goals or achievements any more – it’ s about presence, love, and what really matters.”
It also made her rethink her career.“ I wanted work that fulfilled me, that I could do with intention, without sacrificing these precious moments. That tiny life inside me changed my priorities overnight.”
Like many moms, Aneeqah expected a very traditional birth. What she didn’ t anticipate was having a C-section at 41 weeks.“ I had hoped for a natural birth, even planned a water birth and had a doula by my side, so adjusting to the unexpected surgery was both physically and emotionally tough.”
But through it all, she had her husband, parents, family, and friends nearby to keep her grounded and supported.“ Their love, encouragement, and presence made the uncertainty and challenges of pregnancy feel manageable. Knowing I wasn’ t alone, having people I could lean on, kept me centred and gave me the confidence to trust the journey.”
In the end, everything unfolded as it was meant to, and in July 2025, she welcomed her beautiful baby boy, one with a full head of hair and a strong set of lungs.
Influencer, wife and mompreneur
Life for Aneeqah and her husband looks very different now.“ Becoming parents has shifted our dynamic in the most profound way,” admits Aneeqah.“ We’ ve had to learn patience, communication, and teamwork on a whole new level.” Their priorities have realigned.“ What used to feel urgent now sometimes feels small compared to family. It has strengthened our bond, deepened our respect for each other, and reminded us that we’ re a team first, always. Parenthood hasn’ t just changed our lives – it’ s changed us.”
So, what does an average day look like for a mom, wife, influencer, and social media marketer?
“ I love this question because honestly, there’ s no completely‘ normal’ day any more – but there’ s a rhythm.”
Her mornings start with mom mode: cuddles, breakfast, and little moments before the world wakes. Then it’ s work mode( emails, content creation, campaigns, strategy) – the hours behind the posts people see. Some days involve filming; others mean attending events. Afternoons and evenings are a mix of family time, playdates, meals, and planning their life together.
